What sets the coaching apart
-
Measured, not guessed
A portable launch monitor reads your real ball and club numbers on every shot, so changes are based on data — not feel alone.
-
Built around your swing
Justin meets you where your game is and gives clear, doable changes you can feel on the very next swing — no jargon, no one-size-fits-all drills.
-
Juniors to competitive
From first-timers to competitive players chasing a lower number, with deep experience coaching junior golfers.

Coaching Built for the Conditions You Actually Play
Outdoor lessons train what a screen can’t fully replicate — real lies, real wind, and true distance control. On the range, we focus on where your game needs it most.
-
Full Swing & Ball-Striking
Build a repeatable swing and flush contact you can trust off the tee and from the fairway.
-
Short Game & Scoring
Chipping, pitching, and putting — where most strokes are actually saved.
- Measured on the range
Distance & Feedback You Can Measure
A portable launch monitor gives you real ball and club data on every shot — carry, ball speed, spin, and launch, right there on the grass.

The outdoor advantage
Real Conditions Build Real Skills
The mechanics you build only count when they hold up against real turf, real wind, and true ball flight — so your practice transfers straight to the course. Pair it with indoor data and you’ve got a complete, year-round loop.
Prove It Outdoors

- Watch the ball actually fly

Outdoor Golf Lesson FAQs
Outdoor lessons are held on the driving range at Muskegon Community College Golf Course — on real grass in the Muskegon area, convenient to Norton Shores and Grand Haven.
Outdoor lessons run spring through summer in Michigan, and spots fill as the weather warms up. In the off-season we move indoors to the aboutGolf simulators so you can keep improving year-round.
No experience is needed to start. We do recommend bringing your own clubs, so the changes you make carry straight over to the clubs you actually play.
Yes — beginners through competitive players, and juniors up to 18. Every lesson is built around your level, whatever it is.
Single lessons start at $65 for adults (30 minutes) and $55 for juniors, with multi-lesson packages that bring the per-lesson price down. See the pricing section for the full rates and packages.
Both, ideally. Outdoor lessons build real-condition skills in season; indoor lessons give you precise shot data year-round on the simulators. Many golfers pair the two — build it indoors with the numbers, then prove it outdoors on the grass.
