How leagues work

What to Expect Each Week

Every league night runs the same way — here’s how a week works at Under Par Golf in Muskegon.

  1. 01

    Check in at arrival

Arrive at Under Par Golf in Muskegon and check in at the front desk. Our team gets you to your simulator bay and ready to play — no setup or equipment hassle, even if it’s your first league night.

  2. 02

    Get assigned matchup

You’ll get your matchup or pairing for the week. Team leagues play head-to-head match play, while the junior league plays individual stroke play — so you always know exactly who and what you’re playing.

  3. 03

    Play your scheduled 9 holes

Play your nine holes on the aboutGolf simulators — true-to-life ball flight on real courses, with handicap formats that keep matches close for golfers of every skill level.

  4. 04

Scores update in Golf League Guru

Every score is logged in the Golf League Guru app, so points, standings, and handicaps update automatically and you can follow the whole season from your phone.

  5. 05

    Prizes and weekly challenges announced

Each league night wraps with prizes and weekly challenges, and the season builds toward standings-based awards — so there’s always something on the line.

Golf league FAQs · Muskegon

League FAQs

Everything you need to know about joining a golf league near Muskegon — teams, scoring, and payments.

Our team leagues at Under Par Golf in Muskegon are each capped at 12 two-person teams — 24 players (the Junior league is individual play, also capped at 24 players). Spots fill on a first-come basis and registration closes once a league is full, so it’s worth signing up early to claim your place for the season.

Most leagues are 2-person teams, so you and a partner share the weekly matches and split the league fee. The exception is the Monday Junior League, which is individual play — capped at 24 players — with separate boys’ and girls’ divisions by age.

No — our indoor golf leagues in Muskegon welcome golfers of all levels. The team leagues use handicap scoring (70% handicap) so newer and experienced players compete fairly in the same league, with close week-to-week matches instead of blowouts.

Scores, points, standings, and handicaps are all tracked through the Golf League Guru app. Standings update weekly, so you can follow your team’s progress and the rest of the league from any device throughout the season.

Yes — some of our leagues let you split your session payments instead of paying the full league fee up front. Ask our team when you register, and keep in mind that Under Par members pay a lower rate on every league.
